Punt e Mes is the Piedmontese translation of “one and a half” and owes its name to the perfect equilibrium between sweet and bitter, thanks to a well-balanced dosage of vermouth (one part) and chinona (half a dose).
Dark red in colour with streaks of vermilion, Punt e Mes is characterized by aromas recalling aromatic herbs, chinona and cloves. On the palate, the initial sensation is one of sweetness, enhanced by an intriguing nuance of bitter orange zest, which then develops into the bitter taste of chinona, only to close on a final note of sweetness
